CHRISTMAS TREATS

The weeks of endless shopping, long working days, partying and excessive overindulging is over.  All that build up is over for another year!  Don't get me wrong there is nothing I enjoy more than retreating back to my parents house on Christmas eve for some home comforts and luxury foodstuffs ,but December fairly takes it out of me! Long, tiring shifts at Aveda have to be endured to guarantee that everyone gets their grey hairs covered in time for that one day of joy with the family.  I have to admit I was rather spoilt this year...
Alexander Mcqueen Spike Cocktail ring (please excuse my wrinkly hairdresser hands)
From my wonderful boyfiend.

Vivienne Westwood patent purse from the folks

...and so many of these gift cards that I'll still be using them in 2013! (well, probably not)
However my favourite pressie must be from my brothers- a juicer!  I've wanted one of these bad boys for ages but it is the type of thing you never get round to actually buying for yourself. Love it! 2012 will be all about my healthy fruity concoctions!

Roll on 2012!

SPIKED FEET

Totally and utterly obsessed with spiked footwear at the moment! It is no secret that I've been lusting over the Jeffrey Campbell Lita Spike for quite some time now (hence the name).  However after much deliberation and drooling over my computer screen I have succummed to purchasing the Sam Edelman Lorrissa (Jeffrey Campbell- you're just gonna have to wait, til Christmas). Too EXCITED!

THE BEST FROM TOKYO FASHION WEEK

THE ELEGANT AND EXTRAORDINARY FROM JAPAN

Motonari-Ono (So beautiful!)

Johan Ku

Yu Amatsu

Johan Ku (when the lights went off)

Mikio Sakabe

Keiichi Muramatsu

So this week saw some of the most bizarre collections for Spring / Summer 2012 from none other than Tokyo Fashion Week. Designers made sure to shock with their outlandish and extravagant designs, with only a small handful of the designs actually being deemed wearable on the highstreet without looking like a total maniac! The Japanese are renowned for their elaborate and truely eccentric sense of style.  These are my favourite designs from the week!

DANGER! HIGH VOLTAGE

JEFFREY CAMBELL SEASONAL LOOKBOOK
-NEON HANDBAGS-

I want, I want, I want

As always, Jeffrey Campbell has excelled in its latest lookbook, this time focusing on a new collection of neon handbags.  The bright and wonderful bags are not only unique with their exotic colour, but have been totally brought to life in this lookbook with the help of Jump Jirakaweekul's excellence in graphic design.

VERSACE FOR H&M

IT'S VERSACE BABY- ONLY THIS TIME WE CAN ALL AFFORD IT! HOORAY!

So finally vogue.co.uk unveiled the latest H&M collaberation and it does not get better than this!  Versace for H&M lives up to the long awaited high expectations. The collection if full of bold prints, bright colour and elegant shapes; all of which have given the house of Versace its legendary status over the years.  For me, the collection symbolises the past 20 years of fashion all rolled into one. Don't get me wrong I do love the asthetic styles but I can't help but feel that maybe some of it is a little bit too '90's for contemporary fashionistas...
